About the Countdown Timer
A visual countdown timer with a circular progress ring, hour-minute-second inputs and quick presets from one minute to one hour. Timing is anchored to wall-clock time, so pausing and resuming stays accurate, and an alarm beeps three times when the countdown reaches zero.
How to use the Countdown Timer
- Enter hours, minutes and seconds, or click a preset like 5 min or 25 min.
- Press Start and watch the ring drain toward zero.
- Use Pause and Resume as needed โ the remaining time is preserved.
- When the alarm sounds, press Reset to set up the next countdown.

How accurate is the timer?
It tracks an absolute end timestamp rather than counting ticks, so background-tab throttling or brief sleeps do not make it drift โ the display checks the clock four times per second.
What presets are available?
One, five, ten and twenty-five minutes plus one hour, each loading the fields instantly so you can start with a single click.
What happens when time runs out?
A Time's up notice appears and a beep plays three times; note that the alarm only sounds while the page is open.
