CSV ⇄ JSON

Two-way converter with delimiters, headers and preview.

About the CSV ⇄ JSON

Convert CSV to JSON or JSON to CSV in either tab, with delimiter, header and type handling under your control. Commas, semicolons, tabs and pipes are all supported, quoted fields with embedded commas parse correctly, and numeric, boolean and null values are detected automatically. A preview table shows the first 50 rows before you download.

How to use the CSV ⇄ JSON

  1. Pick a direction: the CSV → JSON or JSON → CSV tab.
  2. Choose your delimiter — comma, semicolon, tab or pipe — and tick First row is the header when applicable.
  3. Paste your data into the editor and read the converted output.
  4. Check the preview table, then use the download button to save a .json or .csv file.

CSV ⇄ JSON FAQ

Does it convert numbers and booleans automatically?

Yes. Cells equal to true, false or null become real JSON types, and anything that looks like an integer or decimal becomes a number; everything else stays a string.

What JSON shape works for CSV output?

An array of objects — or an object of objects, which gains an extra _key column. Keys are unioned across all objects, and values containing the delimiter are quoted.

Is my spreadsheet data uploaded?

No. Parsing and conversion run entirely in your browser, so customer or financial rows never leave your machine.
