Text Reverser
Reverse characters, words, lines, or letters within words.
โAbout the Text Reverser
Flip text in four different ways: reverse every character, reverse the order of words, reverse the order of lines, or scramble the letters inside each word while keeping the words in place. A keep-line-breaks option preserves the layout when reversing characters, which is handy for puzzles and mirrored messages.
How to use the Text Reverser
- Paste your text into the editor.
- Choose a mode from the Reverse dropdown: All characters, Word order, Line order or Letters within each word.
- If you chose All characters, tick Keep line breaks in place to preserve the original line layout.
- Copy the mirrored result from the Reversed box.
Text Reverser FAQ
Does emoji survive reversal?
Reversal works on code points, so single emoji keep their shape; combined sequences with modifiers can still split, which is a known quirk of any character reversal.
What is the difference between Word order and Letters within each word?
Word order reverses the whole sequence so the last word comes first, while Letters within each word mirrors the spelling of every word but keeps the words in their original positions.
Can I reverse a multi-line document?
Yes. Choose Line order to flip the sequence of lines, or reverse the characters on every line while keeping the line breaks where they are.
