About the List Converter
Convert a plain list into the format your next tool expects: comma or semicolon separated, pipes, quoted strings, a JSON array, a SQL IN clause, bullets, numbers or Markdown checkboxes. Items are split on newlines or commas, with trimming, empty-item removal and lowercasing available as one-click options.
How to use the List Converter
- Paste your items into the editor, one per line or comma separated.
- Pick an output format from the dropdown — for example SQL IN clause or JSON array.
- Toggle Trim whitespace, Remove empty items or Lowercase first letter as needed.
- Copy the result; the header shows how many items were converted.
List Converter FAQ
How does the SQL IN mode quote values?
Each item is wrapped in single quotes, joined with commas and enclosed in IN (…); embedded single quotes are escaped by doubling them so the clause stays valid.
What separators can the input use?
Newlines and commas both split items, so a comma-separated column and a pasted list of lines produce the same result.
Which formats produce one item per line?
Newlines, bullets, numbered lists and Markdown checkboxes each place one item per line; comma, space, semicolon, pipe, quoted, single-quoted, JSON and SQL modes produce inline output.
