About the Quick Notepad
A fast scratchpad with multiple notes that autosave to your browser as you type โ no account, no sync, no waiting. Keep snippets, temporary lists and half-finished thoughts one keystroke away, and download any note as a text file when you need to move it.
How to use the Quick Notepad
- Click the + button to create a new note.
- Type a title and start writing โ everything saves automatically to browser storage.
- Use the search field to filter notes by title or content.
- Download a note as .txt, or delete it with the โ button in the list.

Where are my notes stored?
In your browserโs localStorage under the ToolHub namespace. They survive refreshes and restarts on the same browser profile but do not sync across devices or browsers.
Can I recover a deleted note?
No โ deletion is immediate and there is no trash. For anything important, use the Download .txt button to keep a copy before cleaning up.
Is there a size limit?
LocalStorage allows roughly 5 MB per site. That is several hundred pages of text, so daily note-taking will never hit it.
