About the Work Hours Calculator

A weekly timesheet for all seven days with clock-in, clock-out and unpaid break minutes per day. Each row shows worked time as hours and minutes, the week totals against a 40-hour expectation, and the overtime or undertime balance. A copy-ready timesheet summary and a clear-all button round it out.

How to use the Work Hours Calculator

  1. Set Clock in and Clock out for each day you worked.
  2. Enter unpaid break minutes so they are deducted from the day.
  3. Leave non-working days empty โ€” they count as zero.
  4. Read the Weekly total and Overtime or Undertime tiles against the 40-hour baseline.

Work Hours Calculator FAQ

How is overtime determined?

The baseline is 40 hours per week; anything above shows as Overtime and anything below as Undertime, both in hours and minutes.

Can it handle overnight shifts?

Not directly โ€” the calculator subtracts in-time from out-time the same day, so a shift past midnight should be entered as two rows or adjusted manually.

What are the defaults?

A standard Monday-to-Friday 09:00 to 17:30 with a 30-minute break, which you can clear entirely with the Clear all button for a blank week.
