Numeronym Generator FAQ
How is the number calculated?
It is the number of letters between the first and last letter โ localization has 10 middle letters, so it becomes l10n, matching the well-known i18n for internationalization.
What happens to short words?
Words shorter than three characters are left unchanged, since there are no middle letters to count.
Is capitalization preserved?
No. The first and last letters are lowercased in the numeronym, following the lowercase convention of k8s, a11y and l10n.
