About the Scientific Calculator
A scientific calculator with trigonometry in degrees or radians, powers, roots, factorials and logarithms. Dedicated keys cover sin, cos, tan and their inverses, sqrt, π, e, n! and both log bases, while functions like exp, abs, floor, ceil and round can be typed into expressions. A history tracks your last twelve results.
How to use the Scientific Calculator
- Choose degrees or radians with the toggle above the display.
- Build an expression with the function keys — for example sin( followed by a value and ).
- Press = to evaluate; the result is placed back into the expression for chaining.
- Type advanced functions like log2(, exp( or round( directly if you prefer the keyboard.
Scientific Calculator FAQ
Which functions are available?
sin, cos, tan, asin, acos, atan, sqrt, ln, log10, log2, exp, abs, floor, ceil, round and fact (factorial), plus the constants pi and e.
How do I switch between degrees and radians?
Use the checkbox above the display — it is labeled with the current mode, and it changes sin, cos, tan and their inverses immediately, including mid-expression.
Why does the result reappear in the input?
After evaluating, the numeric result becomes the expression so you can keep operating on it, exactly like the ANS chain on a handheld calculator.
