How to use the Whitespace Cleaner
- Paste the messy text into the editor.
- Pick a whitespace mode: collapse spaces and tabs, tabs only, or all whitespace including newlines.
- Toggle Trim line ends, Remove blank lines or Join into one line as needed.
- Copy the cleaned text from the output box and check the Saved counter to see how many characters disappeared.
Whitespace Cleaner FAQ
Will it preserve my paragraph breaks?
Only if you avoid the Collapse ALL whitespace mode and leave Join into one line unticked. The default mode squeezes runs of spaces and tabs to a single space while leaving line structure intact.
Can it turn multi-line text into one line?
Yes, enable Join into one line and every newline becomes a single space โ handy for CSV cells or single-line meta descriptions.
How much space can it save?
The Chars before, Chars after and Saved tiles above the editor update live, so you see the exact character reduction before copying the result.
