About the Tip Calculator
Work out the tip, the total and the per-person share in one pass. A slider covers 0 to 40 percent with quick presets at 10, 15, 18, 20 and 25, any group size is supported, and a round-up option lifts each person's total to the next whole currency unit so nobody fumbles for coins.

- Drag the tip percentage slider or click a preset like 18% or 20%.

Tip Calculator FAQ
How does the round-up option work?
It rounds each person's share up to the next whole unit, then reconstructs the total from those shares โ the tip tile adjusts automatically to match the higher total.
What tip presets are included?
Ten, fifteen, eighteen, twenty and twenty-five percent as one-click buttons, with the full slider available anywhere between 0 and 40 percent.
Is the per-person figure split evenly?
Yes, the total including tip divides equally across the group, and a separate tile shows just the tip portion each person is contributing.
